Our 1st visit is in May. I'm a single mom & trying to budget for things my 2 kids want to do. My 12yr old son is so excited about Ridemakerz. How much should I expect to budget on this? Also would love ideas on what things to do with my 15yr old daught

    Hi Cindy,

Thanks for writing!  My boys had an opportunity to create a Ridemakerz masterpiece several months ago (thanks to their super generous grandpa!)  At Ridemakerz, the price you ultimately pay depends upon the options and specific upgrades you purchase for your vehicle.  My boys' cars cost $85 and $90 respectively.  While we were there, I saw several cars made in the $70 price range as well as some that were close to $100.  My kids love their cars, but it was certainly a very special treat for them.

As for special options for your daughter while your son is working on his creation, if she's like me, she might enjoy a visit to Trend D, a very hip shop at Downtown Disney, that features creative and stylish Disney apparel and accessories that she's likely to love.  Downtown Disney is filled with wonderful shops and restaurants.  I would suggest a special lunch (we love Wolfgang Puck and Portobello Downtown) and then an afternoon shopping.

I hope your family has an incredible vacation!  Happy planning!
