We want to visit magic kingdom on the 4th and 5th April. We have a 6 and 9 year old. We are also interested in a hotel can you advice the best hotel and cheapest option of ticket purchase

Hi there, Ian! Welcome to planDisney. Your kids sound the perfect age to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth. So let's get you there.

Purchasing less than 7-day Magic Tickets for those of us based in Blighty can be done through the European Walt Disney World website. Here, you can find as little as 2-day tickets. All ticket prices depend on dates, Parks, and other options such as Park Hopper. I recommend pre-booking your tickets from home, but you can purchase tickets when in the US as an alternative.

The best part about being a Disney Resort hotel Guest, beyond the epic immersive theming, is that you can avail of magical little perks such as Early Entry. There is something for everyone at Walt Disney World. Luxurious bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to Value Resorts like Disney's Pop Century Resort. Think about what budget you would like to spend and which Parks you're likely to visit. It will give you a better idea of where you would like to be located and if Disney Skyliner access is important to you, for example. Some resorts have larger-than-life theming, so if one of your kids is crazy about The Little Mermaid, it's worth checking out the standard rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort

We want to help Guests make the most informed choices here at planDisney, and there are a few podcasts that are worth a watch before you make your Disney Resort hotel choice.

Ian, I hope this information helps you make a magical start to your Disney planning. We're here to help at planDisney should you have any follow-up questions.
