I want to visit Magic Kingdom with a 4 and 5 year year old girls for 2 days. Where do I even start ? Can I hire someone to plan out and make reservations for us? I work full time ++ and literally have no time to plan this trip.

    Royal greetings, Jaime!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by for help planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! At planDisney, we're Guests - just like you - with passions for planning (and visiting) Disney Destinations. Jaime, your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is quickly approaching, and I'm here to help you prepare. Now, before you start packing your suitcase, let's set you up for success during your time at Magic Kingdom Park!

Jaime, as a fellow full-time working mom of a preschooler, I can understand where you're coming from. I'm sure that you're hoping to make your visit to Magic Kingdom Park a special and memorable experience for your little princesses! Planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can seem overwhelming at times. However, I encourage you not to stress over planning a practically perfect vacation! Visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with little ones is always an unforgettable experience - whether you plan every detail extensively or not. I'd like to share a few tips with you to help get the planning process started:
    • Purchase your theme park tickets and link them to your Disney account. Make sure to assign them to the Guests who will be using them. Also, remember that theme park reservations are still currently required (through early January 2024), so be sure to reserve Magic Kingdom Park for each Guest for the days you hope to visit.
    • Download the My Disney Experience mobile app to your phone and set up a Disney MagicMobile pass. With Disney MagicMobile service and your digital pass, you'll be able to use your smart device and linked theme park admission to enter the theme parks!
    • Will your princesses enjoy riding attractions while in the theme park? If so, consider purchasing Disney Genie+ service at 7:00 a.m. on the day(s) of your theme park visit. With this service, you'll be able to use Lightning Lane entrances to skip the standby queues and minimize your wait times!
    • Many attractions and entertainment offerings that appeal to little ones don't require reservations or pre-planning. Check the Hours & Events Calendar ahead of your visit to map out your little ones' must-dos! My little Mouseketeer loves the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After fireworks.
Since it's officially spooky season, Magic Kingdom Park closes early on some evenings for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Be sure to plan ahead so you aren't surprised by the early closing time, Jaime! If you purchase tickets with the Park Hopper option, you could "hop" to another theme park in the afternoon. This is a great option for Guests hoping to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a party day but still maximize the value of their ticket during the evening hours.

Jaime, I hope this information helps you to prepare for your upcoming visit. I'm sure that you and your princesses will have an unforgettable time! If you have additional questions, stop back by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,

    Lauren
