Hiya Alison - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you from around the globe plan their very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
The holidays are an extra magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort - I'm so excited you'll be there to experience it! While we don't have any schedules for this year's upcoming holiday season yet, I'm happy to share some of my experiences from previous years.
Typically, on evenings when
Magic Kingdom Park is hosting
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the usual evening fireworks may be scheduled early, or not be scheduled at all. In my experience, on other dates around the holidays where there is
not a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Guests are able to enjoy the usual evening fireworks spectacular. This is some holly jolly good news for you!
If you do happen to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a party day but do not wish to attend the party, you can usually experience other nighttime spectaculars. For example,
Fantasmic! may be showing at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT will typically have a nighttime fireworks spectacular as well!
When it comes to daytime parades, special evening events don't usually alter these schedules too much. That being said, you'll want to
take a look at the posted hours for the Theme Parks which will include details on parades and nighttime spectaculars for your visit. These are usually updated about 60 days in advance.
I hope this information is helpful, Alison -
