Hi! I want to visit Magic Kingdom in January or February when my son will be 6-7 months old, but I'm not sure if that is too young. If it isn't, what should I plan to bring with me to make him as comfortable as possible?

    Hi Natalie,

I took my son to Disney when he was just 3 months old!  Babies are portable, and the best part is they don't talk back and they're free!

I do have some tips to make your trip a lot easier.  You're best bet is to travel as light as possible.  You can have baby items delivered to your Disney resort room through Green Grocer.    Most times, Guests use Amazon or ship items directly from their homes to resorts.  If you decide to do that, please make sure that the package is sent to the correct hotel address.  Also, please have the word "GUEST" clearly labeled on the box along with your date of arrival.

The Baby Care Centers, located at the theme parks, are wonderful!  You can have a nice break from the crowds, heat, and all the walking.  Take advantage of the calm and quiet there whenever you or baby needs it.  They also have items for sale such as diapers, formulas, wipes and some over the counter medications.

There are so many rides for you to enjoy with your son.  You can look at Disney's website and check out the attractions.  The ones that say Guests "of any height" are the ones for you.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Have a magical day!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
