We want to visit Magic Kingdom only as we have an infant with us and just need this one day ticket. What's the best and secure way to buy one-day adult tickets? Do we need any special reservation for our baby (10 months)?

    Hallo, Wolfgang!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for taking the time to send a question our way. We are thrilled to assist you as you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

I believe European Guests are not able to buy one-day tickets online at this time. The Walt Disney Travel Company currently does not offer this option for purchase on its website. Since you are coming all the way from Austria, consider buying 2-day tickets to enjoy even more magic with your family. Magic Kingdom Park is definitely the park to visit with children, but you will be surprised to discover all the great attractions families can experience with their little ones at the other theme parks. If you decide to visit a second theme park, I highly recommend EPCOT.

If you still have your mind set on a one-day ticket to Magic Kingdom Park, I recommend contacting the Walt Disney Travel Company in Europe or asking a trusted travel agent for assistance. As an international Guest myself, I am aware that certain products are not available for purchase in all countries. You could still try buying your tickets through the United States Walt Disney World Resort website, but please note that you may not be able to complete your transaction. Another option is waiting until you are in the United States to buy your tickets via the My Disney Experience mobile app or the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Wolfgang, I am happy to share that children under the age of 3 are Mickey’s special Guests, so you do not have to buy your 10-month-old baby a ticket. That also means that if you purchase Disney Genie+ for your day at MagicK Kingdom Park, your child will be welcome to ride the same attractions you experience using Lightning Lane access, as long as they meet height requirements. Please note, however, that you must always include your baby while making dining reservations or booking a Disney resort hotel due to occupancy requirements.

PlanDisney tip: Be sure to visit the Baby Care Centers located at all four theme parks. Stop by for a diaper change, to feed your child, buy baby items, and even take a break while touring the parks. I also recommend learning more about Rider Switch service to make the most of your visit!

I hope this information is helpful, Wolfgang. If you have more questions, please send them our way. It will be a pleasure to continue to help you plan your Disney adventure!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
