Hi there, Shanda! Welcome to planDisney!
How I wish Fairy Godmother could wave her wand and make your Disney dreams a reality! I just checked the
Theme Park Availability Calendar, and right now, with many students on Spring Break and Easter right around the corner, I'm not seeing any availability for the Magic Kingdom Park until April 14. At this point, Disney hasn't established a waiting list for Guests trying to book
Disney Park Pass reservations, but keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements of that kind.
Shanda, there are openings at
EPCOT for the days you were thinking about visiting, so you could still have a Disney adventure! Plus, the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom, so this might be a perfect time to see it! You can explore the beautiful gardens, watch playful butterflies, and sample the delicious delicacies at the
Outdoor Kitchens. And there are also some
fun activities for kids!
If you can't find openings at any other Parks, there's still lots to do on your Disney vacation. You can hit the slopes at
Blizzard Beach water park,
dine with dinosaurs at Disney Springs, and play a few rounds of
mini golf, all without ever leaving Walt Disney World!
One more thing, Shanda. If you can postpone your visit a bit, you have a much better chance of getting Disney Park Pass reservations. As I write this, Memorial Day weekend looks like it has plenty of availability, so maybe that's your time to shine!
I hope this helps you plan the perfect Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your family, Shanda. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
