Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to help with all your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions.
A
standard theme park ticket allows you to enter one theme park each day. You can come and go at that same park as much as you choose throughout the day. But you can't enter another park for any reason, including for a dining reservation.
So, if you want to spend the day at
Magic Kingdom and have dinner at
Epcot, you will need to upgrade to a park hopper. If a park hopper doesn't fit your budget or your needs for the rest of your vacation -- and you want to eat outside of Magic Kingdom -- I'd suggest choosing a restaurant in one of the monorail resorts (the
Contemporary,
Polynesian Village Resort or the
Grand Floridian Resort & Spa).
My family often takes a break from a Magic Kingdom day for a late lunch and a little rest at the
Contempo Cafe,
Kona Cafe or
Gasparilla Island Grill. For table service dining nearby, we're also fans of
California Grill,
'Ohana,
Grand Floridian Cafe and
Narcoossee's. All three of the resorts also have comfy chairs in the lobbies if you want to relax a bit and give your feet a break before continuing your fun at Magic Kingdom.
Thanks for your question, Jennifer. Please let us know if we can help in any other way. Enjoy!
Wilma
