1st visit in June '10, staying at Boardwalk. I bought cool gifts at disneystore.com for our kids to prevent in-park overspending. Would resort staff place items on our beds to surprise our kids following our MK visit? If so, how do I set this up?

Hi Heather! We also enjoy surprising our children during our stay. In the past, I have always needed to "run back to the room" for something that I pretended not to have. Hubby would act frustrated and agree to take the kids to the bus stop or stop in the gift shop depending on how early we were leaving. I would unpack our hidden surprise and set the items on the desk, as not to prevent housekeeping from cleaning up and leaving our towel animals for the day. The kids are always surprised that Mickey has visited them while we were in the Parks.

Another option is ask the Front Desk for their assistance. I believe they would be able to coordinate housekeeping efforts to place your surprise items after cleaning up your room. Remember to tip your housekeeper well for their assistance in your plans.
