We have to visit Jan. 3-9, 2010, due to air fare expiring. I am concerened about the crowds. Is this historically a very busy time? We want low crowds! That is our main concern. Also not sure if it considered a value season or what deals such as free dine

    Hi Michele,

No worries!  The time between Christmas and New Years is probably the busiest time of the year at Walt Disney World, but the crowds typically disperse fairly quickly after the holidays as kids need to get back to school.  I think you've picked a great time to go, I wouldn't hesitate to visit this week (and I don't like crowds), so I think you're good.

Currently there are not any promotions available for 2010, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.  I suggest signing up at a website such as www.mousesavers.com to get their email updates.  This way you won't miss out on a great deal!

Hope this helps, have a great vacation!
