Can I visit grand Floridian without being a hotel guest? Where can I park my car? I want to visit the different Disney hotels

Hey there, Nancy, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

Nancy, I love taking time on each Walt Disney World Vacation to visit a new Disney Resorts Collection hotel in the “bubble.” The fantastic part of Disney Vacations is that the entire resort is available for Guests to explore. So the short answer to your question is: yes! However, in my experience, it’s much easier to visit new resort hotels when you can evidence to the Security Cast Member that you have a legitimate need to gain access to the resort. With this in mind, I recommend booking a dining reservation at a Grand Floridian Resort & Spa restaurant. Not only do you get to enjoy some delicious food, but you can also use the time around your reservation to explore the resort grounds. If you have a dining reservation, the Security Cast Member will point you to the proper parking location. Another option is to carve out time on your Magic Kingdom Park Theme Park days to visit the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Monorail gives you a direct mode of transportation to the resort grounds. You can take this time to peruse the grounds as well. The best part of this option is you never have to move your car from the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot!

I hope this helps, Nancy! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
