I would like to visit the Grand Floridian on Saturday I have been unable to get restaurant reservations because of lack of availability. If we come just to visit the resort is there an issue with parking?

Welcome to planDisney, Marie! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question about Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, one of my favorite places to spend time at Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many great restaurants and lounges, and since it's the holiday season, the legendary Christmas tree and giant gingerbread house are on display, so it's the perfect time to go snap some photos before they disappear for another year!

Marie, parking at Disney Resorts Collection Hotels is reserved for Guests who are staying there or have dining reservations. If you're able to secure dining reservations for Saturday, you'll be given a complimentary parking pass to put in your car window for a few hours, but if you're just visiting to check out the decorations and do some shopping, the best place to park is the Transportation and Ticket Center. It's just a few monorail stops away, so it's a quick journey! If you park there, you'll be able to stay at the Resort as long as you like to enjoy the atmosphere and the public areas, and then you can just hop on the monorail at the end of the evening to head back to your car.

I hope this answers your question, Marie, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
