We want to visit FW to explore the resort. If we take the internal bus from the Settlement do we have to exit at the Outpost and take a different bus back or can we stay in the bus and complete the "loop"? Thank you! ;-)

Hi Ivan! Fort Wilderness has become our "home" resort since we bought a motor coach to stay in during our Disney vacations. We like to bring along our four legged family members and this is a great way for this to happen.

You are certainly welcome to stay on the bus and complete a loop of the resort. They will not care if you stay on or get off at any point. There is so much to see and do though that you just might want to get off and explore a little before waiting and getting back on another bus later on.  The Disney stables are fun to explore and see the draft horses and Cinderella's ponies and their homes.  You can stop in at the Bike Barn and rent a canoe for an hour or try your luck at fishing by renting the gear.

If your visit coincides with either Halloween or Christmas then you can walk through some of the loops to see all the great decorations that the guests display next to their vehicles. You will not go through the loops themselves by staying on the bus as they only go on the main roads.

Hopefully you will be able to take more time then a short ride through but I think you will find this spot of Disney World a very relaxing and enjoyable place to visit or stay!
