Hi Pamela!
It sounds like you are about to embark on a fun adventure that your nieces won’t soon forget! Many years ago, I took both of my nieces to the Walt Disney World Resort and it is an experience that they still talk about, and they are adults now! Experiencing the magic of Disney with tweens and teens is truly a fun and exhilarating experience.
As a mom to tweens and teens, I’d like to give you some tips and suggestions! If your nieces are seeking thrills, attractions like
TRON Lightcycle / Run and
Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park or
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT are sure to make their faces light up. You’ll get a kick out of hearing their excited squeals.
The magic doesn’t stop with the thrill rides. Tween and Teen travelers can get a taste of nostalgia and whimsy with classics like Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion, both at Magic Kingdom Park. When hunger strikes, the diverse dining options are aplenty. If you’re hoping to grab a quick bite to eat,
Satu’li Canteen at Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is our favorite quick-service dining location, but there are so many more. Use your My Disney Experience app where you can discover all the dining options available for Mobile Order or even make advance dining reservations for table service dining locations.
Now let’s get to that question you asked. Since your sister is a Florida Resident, she should be able to purchase tickets for your nieces online in advance. She will need to
verify her Florida Residency at the time of purchase by simply filling out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form upon check-out when purchasing tickets through the Walt Disney World Resort, or she can complete the “Customize Your Tickets” step when purchasing through the My Disney Experience app. Once she verifies residency, she can assign your niece's Theme Park Tickets to them. I’d recommend that if they have a MagicBand or MagicBand+ they bring those for ease of access at the Theme Parks.
I hope that you and your nieces have the most spectacular experience. Those kiddos are going to think you are the coolest aunt!
