I would like to visit Epcot on New Years eve, do I need to make any special reservation to make sure we can enter the park?

    Hello,

Thanks for dropping into planDisney. This is a great question and I will be happy to help. with the end of the year counting down, you will want to make sure you are prepared.

Spending the holidays at the Walt Disney World resort is very popular, this place definitely does it right. It is always so magical being able to spend time with loved ones. The holidays including New Year’s Eve is no different in terms of people spending time at the parks. New Year’s Eve is one of the days you will want to make a reservation for. You will also want to make sure you are ready to spend the entire day there. There aren’t a lot of days where the parks get to capacity, but this is one of those days. Having a reservation will ensure you getting into the parks, as long as you are there before the park reaches capacity. You will also not be allowed re-entry if the park is at capacity, even with a reservation. So my recommendation would certainly be to make your reservations and purchase your tickets for this day as soon as you are able to.

In my opinion, EPCOT is definitely the place to be on New Year’s Eve. Magic Kingdom has a great night as well. But when it comes to parties and I think New Year’s Eve is the biggest party in the world. And where better to be than World Showcase? There will be parties going on with DJs as well as celebrations representing each pavilions traditions. this visit is going to be fantastic and you will always remember it. If you are a fan of pictures, I always recommend memory maker for your visit. This gives you all the attraction photos as well as PhotoPass photographers wherever you find them we’ll take your picture as well and upload them to your My Disney Experience App through your phone or MagicBand.

Enjoy this visit and the ringing in the new year with Mickey. If you have any other planning questions visit us again at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical day,
