Hi there, Sandra! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question.
You are visiting
Walt Disney World at such a great time, Sandra. October is one of my favorite months to vacation there. The weather is still nice and warm - perfect for swimming and then of course Magic Kingdom Park is all decorated up for the fall festivities. You are going to love it!
Sandra, I think you'll be happy to know that you can absolutely visit EPCOT in the morning with a standard theme park ticket and then enjoy
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party later that evening without having to upgrade to a park hopper pass. Because the party is a separate event ticket that you'll need to purchase, you do not need to make park pass reservations.
With your party ticket, Sandra, you can gain entrance to Magic Kingdom Park starting at 4:00 p.m. Party festivities will not yet be happening at that time so I suggest doing some of your typical Magic Kingdom must-do's. That way when the party officially starts, you can focus on the party offerings only which I think gets you the most bang for your buck. That's what my family typically does when we go to the special ticketed parties.
Probably my favorite part of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is
Mickey's Boo To You Halloween Parade. It will be running two times during the night and I hope you'll catch one of the showings. I'm not always a parade person but this one is so good!
I hope this helps you plan your day a little bit better, Sandra. If you have any other questions while you plan, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and enjoy!
Jackie H.
