We want to visit Epcot on December 16 or 17. Are their reservation time available. We were wanting the military discount and wanted to go to the Orlando store to buy and visit Epcot on the same day

    Hiya, pal!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for stopping by with a fantastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be visiting EPCOT very soon - it's my favorite theme park at The Most Magical Place on Earth! You'll be visiting during an extra magical time... the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is happening now. I'm here to help you prepare for your holly-jolly holiday!

I'm happy to share that, at the time of writing, all four theme parks have remaining availability for the dates you've mentioned. U.S. military personnel should be able to purchase discounted theme park tickets at Shades of Green, so you should have no problem purchasing and using your admission on the same day (pending availability)! It looks like EPCOT opens to day Guests at 9:00 a.m. on both dates you've mentioned, and most of the Holiday Kitchens featured in this year's festival generally open around noon. My advice: take a peek at the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide before you arrive... and come hungry!

There are several new and exciting offerings available during this year's EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. As someone who loves checking out all of the dazzling gingerbread displays at the Disney Resort hotels each holiday season, I'm sad to miss out on the 8-foot-tall Spaceship Earth-inspired creation inside Communicore Hall this year! I encourage you to pick up a Festival Passport once you arrive at EPCOT to help you navigate all of the enchanting new offerings.

I hope you've found this information useful and I wish you a magical and merry trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional questions before your visit, you're always welcome to stop back by planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
