    We are all in for another visit to DW but not until the mask requirements are lifted. Does it look like that will be happening any time soon?

    A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort.

    Petrea, you may be happy to know that beginning June 15, 2021 face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in most Walt Disney World Resort areas.

    Guests will still be required to wear face coverings on Disney transportation — including the Disney Skyliner, monorails, and Disney bus transportation.

    However, Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, upon entering attractions and transportation, and throughout all attractions and transportation.

    Petrea, as you get ready to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, I encourage you to bookmark and visit the experience updates page often. This page serves as a wonderful source of news and is constantly updated during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World Resort.
