Our visit to DW depends on having 2 ECV, without them we cannot go. My concern is reading the 1st come 1st serve comments. Does the park usually have enough or do they run out often? What happens if we go to another park and they don't have any?

My recommendation would be to rent the Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV) from an outside company. The ECV would be delivered to your resort and you'd have them for the duration of your vacation. Of course, you would need to transport the ECV to and from the parks, however the WDW buses are well-equipped and bus drivers are well-trained in their transport.

I do not have personal experience with outside companies but I have heard good recommendations for www.caremedicalequipment.com. A search for "Orlando ECV rental" will yield companies to compare.
