Howdy, Julia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. December is an exceptionally merry time to the visit the Happiest Place on Earth!
The Disneyland Resort doesn't typically have a holiday party like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the Walt Disney World Resort, but that doesn't mean there isn't a ton of festive fun to be had during the
Holidays! Bringing a unique dash of magic to Disneyland Park are holiday overlays that transform a few of your favorite attractions. Jungle Cruise becomes Jingle Cruise, the Haunted Mansion gets a visit from Jack Skellington and transforms into Haunted Mansion Holiday, and "it's a small world" Holiday features a dazzling light display on the facade and an extraordinary amount of holiday decorations inside the attraction. You can also usually count on the the
Christmas Fantasy Parade and special holiday fireworks.
Also returning in 2017 is the Disney Festival of Holidays in Disney California Adventure Park! There will be oodles of
Festive Food Marketplace kiosks, Disney Viva Navidad, World of Color - Season of Light, and you can even
meet Santa in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
All of this holiday excitement is slated to start this November. Keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog this fall for exact dates and complete details. Happy planning!
