We are going to visit DisneyWorld in September and included the Disney Dining Plan. If the table service meal is not a buffet, what does that include? Drink, entree and dessert?

    Hi, Erica!

I really enjoy the Disney Dining Plan. It is a great way to budget your vacation dollars knowing your meals and snacks are already paid for. For me, snacks equal Mickey Ice Cream Bars, so that's always a good thing!

At Table Service locations, your credit allows for an entrée, non-alcoholic drink, and dessert. If you prefer to skip dessert, you can request soup or a fruit cup (based on restaurant availability. Ask your server for details).  Kids ages 3-9 must order from the kids menu when available.

Any additional items you order, such as specialty drinks, smoothies, appetizers, etc, will be added onto your final bill. Also remember that gratuities are not included, so you may want to budget ahead for that added expense.

Wishing you many happy and delicious meals at Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
