We would like to visit DisneyWorld in Jan. or Feb. of 2013. Our son will be 3 years old. What activities and attractions do you suggest for a 5 or 6 day stay. We want it to be really special for him. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

    Hi Kim!

    This is a great question!

Most children of that age absolutely love the Magic Kingdom.  Most of the attractions there are suitable, though there are a few attractions that are not.  If this is your first trip to Walt Disney World, I realize that can sound a little strange, but it is true.  Unlike most regional amusement parks, Walt Disney World was designed with the entire family in mind.  Thus a 3 year old can enjoy most of the attractions in all four theme parks.

When my boys were 3 years old, they loved:
    • it's a small world in the Magic Kingdom
    • Peter Plan in the Magic Kingdom
    • Pirates of the Caribbean in the Magic Kingdom
    • The Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot
    • Innoventions in Epcot
    • Finding Nemo the Musical in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Festival of the Lion King in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Disney Junior Live in Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney's Hollywood Studios

Most three year olds also enjoy spending time at their Disney resort pool, so keep that in mind.  The pools are a lot of fun and a great way to stay cool on a hot and humid summer day.

I hope this gets you started.  Our responses are limited in length, but I would be happy to help more.  Just write back with more questions!
