Would like to visit Disneyland this weekend. For a 1 day ticket, Disneyland is not available. If I purchase a park hopper ticket for this Saturday, December 6th for California Adventure first, will we be allowed to visit Disneyland after 11:00am? Thanks

Greetings, David. Thanks for stopping by with your park hopper question. I'm glad you're here!

I've definitely been in your shoes before, wanting to visit one theme park when there are no park reservations available. Fear not! You are correct - with a Park Hopper ticket, you can visit either Disneyland Resort theme park after 11:00 AM. Before 11:00 AM, you will only be able to visit the theme park you've got a park reservation for - in this case, California Adventure. However, you are welcome to head to Disneyland Park beginning at 11:00 AM (subject to availability). If Disneyland Park is a priority for you, I recommend park hopping as soon as that window opens.

Another tip I want to mention is to purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) immediately after scanning your ticket for entry. Since LLMP is good for use in both parks, you can book ride return times for Disneyland Park right after 11:00 AM. This way, you really maximize your time! Bonus: PhotoPass downloads are free for the day when you purchase LLMP, so make sure to say "Cheese" and take all the photos you want.

David, before your visit, be sure to head over to the Disney Parks Blog and check out the Holiday Foodie Guides and all the characters you can meet this holiday season. It is the best place for current park news!

I hope this information helps with your planning, David. Please visit us again anytime!

    See ya real soon,
