I will be visit Disneyland in May for my daughter's birthday, is there any thing special that she would enjoy and leave a lasting memory for her? Where's a good place for a birthday dinner?

  • Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna. I'm glad to hear you'll be celebrating your daughter's birthday in May at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button to commemorate the special occasion. You can ask for one at City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park or Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure. The entire party can also pick up buttons that say "I'm Celebrating" as well. My children love sporting their birthday buttons when we celebrate their special day at the parks. It's a joy seeing Cast Members high-five and greet them with birthday wishes all day.

If your child is like my kids who enjoy a "fancy restaurant dinner" to celebrate birthdays, how about dining at the Blue Bayou Restaurant within the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, Napa Rose Restaurant inside the beautiful Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, or Carthay Circle Restaurant in California Adventure? Looking for a fun Character Dining for dinner instead? Check out Goofy's Kitchen inside Disneyland Hotel.

I wish you and your daughter an unforgettable, magical birthday celebration at the Disneyland Resort, Donna. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.

    Sending you Pixie Dusts,
