Hello there, we want to visit Disneyland but we know its California residents only, do we need to provide proof of residency.

    Bright Suns, Brendan!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney en route to a galaxy far, far away. We have been receiving an extraordinary number of interspace transmissions these days, and we appreciate your patience as we assist all Guests.

I can’t believe it’s almost time for the historic reopening of the Disneyland Resort theme parks! The merchants of Black Spire Outpost are anxious to welcome all humans, wookiees, droids, and other galactic travelers back to the marketplace, provided they reside in the Golden State. To make theme park reservations necessary for entry into both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, you must be logged into a Disneyland account associated with a California address, and you will be asked to confirm that all members of your crew reside in California. Proof of residency may be requested upon arrival at the theme parks, and just to be on the safe side; I recommend bringing photo identification if you have it, or a document that was mailed to your address on file.

I hope this is helpful, Brendan. Best wishes as you return to a land of magic, and may the Force be with you.

    Til the spire!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
