Hey Ken
Welcome to
planDisney!
You must really be missing Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as much as I am! As we enter the holiday season, I completely understand that it makes it much harder. At this time we don’t know when we will be able to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks. The Disneyland Resort has received guidance from state officials on what needs to be in place to be able to open but there has not been a date released for when the parks will be open. Make sure to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog as you’ll hear it from them first!
I see you’re from California. If you’re close enough for a day trip, you may want to consider a visit to the
Downtown Disney District. There’s shopping and dining with some of my favorites like
Ballast Point Brewing Co and
Naples Ristorante e Bar.
The most exciting part of visiting the Downtown Disney District is the opportunity to visit Buena Vista Street inside Disney California Adventure Park! Starting November 19th, you’ll be able to access Buena Vista Street and enjoy shopping at places like
Elias and Co,
Julius Katz & Sons,
Trolley Treats, and
Kingswell Camera Shop. Along with shopping you also be able to dine at places like
Carthay Circle Lounge,
Award Wieners,
Smokejumpers Grill,
Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Cafe and enjoy treats like popcorn, churros and ice cream from some of the outdoor vending carts. This may not be the full theme park experience, but I know that I can’t wait to be around some of the sights, sounds and smells of Disney California Adventure Park.
Well Ken, I hope this information finds you well and be sure to check in with us again at a later time.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
