Hi, Sissi! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.
The Disneyland Resort really goes above and beyond to make sure that every Guest can enjoy the parks to the fullest. The “pass” that you mention is called
Disability Access Service and it is designed specifically for those who cannot tolerate waiting in traditional queues. Disability Access Service provides a return time to ride an attraction so you can wait outside the queue or enjoy another activity until your return time arrives. You are not required to bring along any supporting documentation, but you will need to stop by either City Hall in Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park to speak to a Cast Member. They will discuss what accommodations are available to you and issue Disability Access Service if deemed appropriate.
In addition to Disability Access Service, you will want to make efficient use of the
Disney FASTPASS Service. This is included with your theme park admission and provides return times for select attractions so you can skip most of the wait. You will visit a FASTPASS distribution kiosk for the attraction you want to ride, insert your theme park ticket, and a return time reminder ticket will be distributed. When it’s time to ride, simply scan your theme park ticket to enter the FASTPASS queue. For an additional fee per ticket per day, you can add
Disney MaxPass which allows you to make FASTPASS selections on your mobile device instead of using distribution kiosks.
I hope your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is full of magic and memories!
