I want to visit Disney World (staying at a Disney resort) and immediately leave for a Disney cruise from Port Canaveral. Does Disney coordinate guests that are bridging these modes? (Is there a bus to Port Canaveral?) We are a part of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids)

Ahoy, Eric! Welcome aboard ship planDisney where we are more excited to answer guest questions than Captain Jack was to return to the Black Pearl.

Eric, a combination Walt Disney World visit and Disney Cruise sounds like the recipe for a perfect vacation, so let's make sure you can easily get from your Disney Resorts Collection hotel to the port. I'm happy to report that for an additional fee, you can book bus transportation by calling Disney Cruise Line. Just make sure to have both of your reservation numbers handy before you call.

Speaking of recipes... Eric, if you haven't cruised with Disney Cruise Line before, get ready for the most delicious sailing. From breakfast to dinner and every snack in between, you'll find that food is (in the words of Pocahontas) "just around the river bend" and would make even the discerning Chef Remy squeal in delight.

If you have any additional questions, please make sure to set your sails on planDisney.

    Bon Voyage!

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Pennsylvania

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
