Hi there, Linda, and Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for sending us your question. I'm happy to help you plan a vacation with your family to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

A dream is a wish your heart makes as Cinderella would say! All you need to do is decide what would make your heart and your family happy when it comes to choosing where to stay at Walt Disney World Resort! Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort are both such magical choices. Do you prefer a more modern vibe or do you want to feel transported to the South Pacific? What other amenities are important to you and your family? Our family loves to have pool time after and between our theme park days, so the pool is important to us and often drives our choice. For your vacation dates, at this time, there is not any construction planned at either resort. You can book your vacation on the Walt Disney World Website by starting on the homepage where it says, "Build Your Vacation." Simply enter your dates and how many people are in your travel party. All of the resorts that are available will appear and you can select your desired resort to see the room options.

When you choose a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you will be able to enjoy many magical benefits! Both of the resorts you are considering are part of the Magic Kingdom Resort area and have the same complimentary resort transportation. As a Disney Hotel guest, you can enjoy Early Theme Park Entry at every theme park each day. For guests staying at a Deluxe Resort Hotel, you can also benefit from Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights at select theme parks.

There are some other things to consider when you are planning your vacation. You can make advanced dining reservations up to 60 days before your arrival, so you might want to determine what dining locations appeal to you the most and where they are located in proximity to the resort you will choose. The World's Most Magical Celebration is also happening now and during your vacation dates. There are many fun things to see and do that you may want to include in your plans!

Linda, I hope this information helps you get started with your planning! If you have any additional questions, please visit us again at planDisney. We're always happy to help!

    Happy Planning!
