    Hi, Eric!

I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning your family’s first trip to the Disneyland Resort. The summer months are an exciting time to visit because the entertainment schedule is packed and the weather is perfect for sunny days by the pool! You’re going to love experiencing all the resort has to offer, from the Downtown Disney District to both of the theme parks.

Each of the Disneyland Resort Hotels has its own unique benefits. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is usually the least expensive option and the rooms have a fun, beach-inspired theme. The property is just a quick walk to the private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park through Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! Guests of Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel can also enjoy the scenic rooftop pool and California Streamin' Waterslide, which is reminiscent of a classic boardwalk rollercoaster.

Rooms at the Disneyland Hotel are quite large and include chic, modern furnishings with a touch of Disney magic, including carved wooden headboards featuring fiber-optic fireworks to create your very own light and music show with the flip of a switch! I love how this hotel has a touch of retro Disneyland charm, and you’ll see nods to Walt Disney and the early days of the theme park in the details and décor. This property is also close to the Monorail station in the Downtown Disney District, so you can hop on for a fun and convenient ride directly into Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park.

I hope this information is helpful, Eric. Please write back with any other questions you may have as you plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
