Hi Amanda,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing another great question to us!
Although wait times can vary depending on the time of year, I will say that the newest attractions tend to have longer wait times so we use Fast Pass+ selections for those when possible. Definitely try to use Fast Pass+ selections for Slinky Dog Dash and Avatar Flight of Passage. Other rides that can have longer wait times are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Soarin' Around the World, Test Track, Frozen Ever After, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
If you have not done so already, download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. We use the app to check wait times for attractions and rides even when we are not in the parks. Doing so helps me to see what the wait times might be for some of our favorite attractions. If you will have little ones with you, know that while the wait times for some of those attractions may be less than the ones I mentioned above, little ones may have difficulty standing in line. Although the attraction queues have interesting features, think about what you might do to keep little ones occupied while waiting.
Amanda, as you plan your park strategy to reduce wait times in line, remember to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and check the
park hours before you go so that you can make the most of your time. We also do pre-park opening dining reservations at 8:00 a.m. As long as we finish dining before 9:00 a.m. on a day when the park opens at 9:00 a.m., we can typically jump in the standby line for an attraction before the crowds arrive!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
