I would like to visit Disney World Magic Kingdom and while we are there I would like to have a meal (breakfast lunch or dinner...doesn't matter) with a princess in Cinderella's castle. What do I have to do to ensure that this happens?

    Hiya, Gwynne!

Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am delighted to see that you are planning a summertime adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth. And what trip to Magic Kingdom Park is complete without a royal visit from a princess or two? Have you heard the incredible news? Traditional Character Greetings have returned! As you visit the princesses throughout the parks you can give warm hugs hello and get your favorite autographs!

Dining at Cinderella's Royal Table is an unforgettable experience. The beautiful stained-glass windows and sky-high ceilings of the main dining room are absolutely stunning. My daughter and I dine here on each visit as a tradition, and every time I still find myself amazed by the views and details. You do not need an invitation from her royal highness to enjoy a memorable meal at this popular spot. But you will need an advanced dining reservation. You can make a reservation 60 days in advance to enjoy a personalized hello with Cinderella, and some great food too. You can make reservations online or through the My Disney Experience app. The booking window opens around 5:45 AM E.T., and this location books quickly. So set your alarm and grab the coffee! Pro tip- if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can make your dining reservations 60 days in advance, plus 9 additional days out. This means if you are staying for a magical week you can book for all seven days. This can be helpful when securing this sometimes hard-to-get reservation. I recommend trying to book towards the end of your stay, as there may be more availability. This is one of the many great perks of being a Guest of a Disney hotel!

And while we are on the topic of reservations, let's chat about Disney Park Pass. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. This is an amazing and popular time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. You can make your reservations as soon as you have your tickets or vacation package purchased.

I hope that your upcoming trip is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
