I would like to visit Disney World and Hollywood studios. Is there a disney hotel that I can stay at that provides easy transportation to the parks? Also, does staying in a park hotel give me fastpast/genie+ access

Welcome to planDisney, Chris! How exciting that you're looking to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth this summer; with so much to see and do, it's a great time to soak in all the magic! Because you're looking to plan for a trip next week, let's jump right into your question so you can finalize your plans and start counting down the days!

Chris, the great news is that all Disney Resort hotels offer guests complimentary resort transportation to and from each of the four Disney theme parks, the two Disney Water Parks, and the Disney Springs shopping and dining complex! Once you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, you can travel by bus, boat, monorail, or the Disney Skyliner to get around! Honestly, the hardest thing about staying at a Disney Resort hotel is deciding which one! I recommend researching the resorts to see which one best fits your family's budget, vacation style, and desired amenities. Disney Resort hotels are categorized as value, moderate, or deluxe resorts and while they all offer some great benefits like complimentary transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, and complimentary water park admission on your check-in day, you'll find additional recreation amenities and dining options at moderate and deluxe resorts, and deluxe resorts also offer Extended Evening Theme Park Hours on select nights.

Staying as a guest at any Disney Resort hotel also allows you to purchase Lightning Lane Passes 7 days before your check-in date for your entire stay (Lightning Lane Passes have replaced the previous FastPass and Genie+ systems). This advance booking window offers more availability for the most popular attractions using both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass because guests staying offsite will not be eligible to book until 3 days before their park visit. With the new Lightning Lane Multi Pass system, you'll preselect return times for up to 3 included attractions at the theme park you plan to visit, and as you redeem your initial selections, you'll be able to choose more (subject to availability) for later in the day! And, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can even select additional attractions at other theme parks!

Chris, I hope this helps! Once you've chosen your resort and made your booking, be sure to secure those Lightning Lanes to help you race to the front of the lines! See you real soon,
