Hi Tracey,
Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Right after Halloween, the Christmas decorations starts to show up at WDW. The transformation, at Magic Kingdom, feels like magic, it's a overnight thing. But for the other parks and the resorts, it takes a while. I remember seeing it myself ready before the Thanksgiving. It's totally worth it. The smell of cinnamon goes trough the entire main building of this resort, it's delicious. The gingerbread shoppe is open from 10:00 am. until 10:00 pm. daily during the holiday season. According to Disney, the gingerbread house is made up of 1,050 pounds of honey, 140 pints of egg whites, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, 700 pounds of chocolate, 800 pounds of flour, 35 pounds of spices, and tons of Disney magic and pixie dust. Look for hidden Mickeys! For a more accurate info, you can call directly to the resort. Probably, when it's ready for this year, they will say something about it at Disney Parks Blog, that way, you will have an idea for the next year date. Start to follow Disney Parks Blog.
Have a magical day!
