Hi Wayne,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!
When people ask me about what I think some of the biggest improvements have been at Walt Disney World Resort over the past few years, the
Disney Skyliner is usually at the top of my list! I absolutely love travelling between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios while floating high above the trees and watching the world go by. It really is a relaxing and peaceful way to travel.
If you want to visit
Disney’s BoardWalk during your vacation, the Disney Skyliner would be a good way to get there, but not from
Magic Kingdom Park or the Transportation & Ticket Center. You see, the
Walt Disney World Monorail Transportation drops you off at the front of
EPCOT, but the Disney Skyliner station is located at the other end of the park, right at the International Gateway. So, if you plan to do a Monorail/Skyliner trip, you’d need to use one of your Theme Park Ticket days to Enter EPCOT or to have the
Park Hopper Option added to your tickets if you had already visited another Park that day.
My advice instead, if you’re travelling from Magic Kingdom Park, would be to take
Disney Bus Transportation from the park straight to
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. That would probably be the most efficient way to get to Disney’s BoardWalk. I’d highly recommend making a Disney Dining reservation at
Flying Fish and then capping off your night with a delicious cocktail at
AbracadaBar.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
