    Hi! DH & I will visit for 3 days (07/12) with only 1-day PH tickets (can't afford more tickets!). Would like to go to the Xmas Party but can't go to the parks before 3:00 PM the day of the party. Is the Xmas Party REALLY worth using our 1-Day tickets?

    Hi Marie-Eve, 

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special event that requires a separate ticket for entry into the Magic Kingdom.  The party begins at 7:00 pm and as you walk down Main Street U.S.A., you will see that it is actually snowing!  Throughout the night you will have complementary cookies and hot chocolate which is just fantastic.  There is a special Once Upon a Christmastime Parade which you will see Santa and a beautiful Christmas fireworks show.  Many of your favorite characters will be dressing for the Holiday season.  So since this is a special event, you will not be able to use your one day Park Hopper ticket for entry.  If you are unable to go to the party, I would suggest spending time in Downtown Disney as it is so festive during December.  I also love taking the Monorail around to the various resorts (Contemporary, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian) and seeing the resorts all decorated for Christmas.  The Grand Floridian every year has a special Gingerbread house that the Disney Chef's spend days decorating!  It is such a treat to see.  I know you will have a magical vacation, Marie-Eve!
