Hi there, Rae! Welcome to planDisney!
Your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few weeks away!
Dahlia Lounge in Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is the perfect place to celebrate your family’s trip. Inspired by Spanish surrealism and Salvador Dali’s art, this relaxing and ambient rooftop lounge is one of my favorite spots to visit with my family and friends.
When traveling with my mother, who uses an aid when walking, I prefer to travel by private transportation as well. If you are using your own vehicle, simply tell the Cast Member at the resort hotel’s gate that you are visiting Dahlia Lounge. They may ask for a photo ID, so have that ready to present. You’ll find a lot of the van-accessible parking on the right after you pass through the gate.
If you’re also visiting
one of these locations within Walt Disney World Resort, Minnie Van Service is another option to travel to Gran Destino Tower. Instead of using the Lyft app, you’ll want to contact Minnie Van Service directly (407-828-3500) to request a Minnie Van that is electric conveyance vehicle (ECV) accessible and seats up to 5 people.
AN EXTRA GEM: Dahlia Lounge has outdoor seating that provides a great view for some of the parks’ fireworks. You can see both
EPCOT and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the distance. Many of the lounge’s dishes are served tapa-style for everyone in the party can share. The Citrus-poached Shrimp Cocktail and Spanish Charcuterie are among my favorites.
Rae, if you have any other questions while planning your Disney vacation, please
revisit us here at planDisney. I’m all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
