We would like to visit when the characters are in their 70th anniversary outfits. Do you know, if we go in November, will they be in Christmas/Holiday outfits or in their 70th anniversary outfits? Thank you!

Hi there, Tyler! Welcome to planDsiney! How wonderful that you're already dreaming of a trip that's merry and bright! A November visit is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season at the Happiest Place on Earth. It will be time to trade in those pumpkin spice lattes for peppermint mochas before we know it!

You've picked such a unique and magical time for your visit! You'll be arriving just before the holiday season officially kicks off on November 14th, which means you get a special peek behind the curtain as the resort puts the final bows on its holiday presents. Seeing the last bits of garland and sparkle go up is a unique experience in itself! And, of course, you'll be right in the middle of the dazzling Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, so you’re in for a spectacular time.

Now, to your holly-jolly question about Mickey's and his pals’ wardrobes! While we know the 70th Celebration and the holidays event will be happening at the same time, the exact details for November are still tucked away tighter than Santa's list on Christmas Eve. It's just a little too early for the big reveal.

However, I have some news that might be a sneak peek of what's to come! The Disney Parks Blog just announced that for Halloween Time this year, Mickey and his pals will be sporting brand-new fall outfits that are a creative twist on their 70th Celebration looks. While we don't have confirmation on their holiday attire just yet, if it's anything like their Halloween wardrobe, we might see a wonderful blend of anniversary sparkle and festive flair. Imagine Mickey in a dapper suit that's both celebratory and has a touch of Christmas magic!

While you're here, let's also talk about the dazzling entertainment! I know so many Guests are wondering about the fan-favorite Paint the Night parade, which, as you may know, is currently lighting up the streets as part of the 70th Celebration! What gives us even more hope for your visit is that the Disney Parks Blog confirmed the parade's run will continue all the way through Halloween Time. My fingers are crossed that this is a great sign that we'll see it sparkle through the holiday season as well.

And Tyler, here's one last tip for making your celebration visit special: Be sure to come with an appetite! The culinary team has created dozens of limited-time treats just for the 70th Celebration. Before you go, I’d encourage you to check out the Disneyland 70th Celebration Foodie Guide over on the Disney Parks Blog. I always like to browse the options (more than 70 were added just for this event!) and make a list of all the must-try items.

Be sure to keep a close eye on the blog and Disneyland website for more announcements as your visit gets closer, Tyler. And, of course, please feel free to pop back over to planDisney as you continue mapping out your trip. We're always here to help!

    See ya real soon!
