Can we visit Art of Animation Resort without room reservations?

Thanks for “penning” a great question to send to planDisney, Xathziry! Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is one of my absolute favorites to visit! With four separate resort areas “drawing” their inspiration from The Lion King, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid, and Cars the décor and theming of the resort are such a “draw” for Guests!

I really enjoy the resort so much that I have visited just to take a leisurely stroll to admire the art sketches on the exterior walls. It’s also fun to take photos with character statues located throughout the resort courtyards. I enjoy the history of all things Disney, so a walkthrough of Animation Hall, located within the main lobby, is such a neat way to see the animators’ early concept art for the films. The Ink and Paint shop, also located in the main lobby, is a fun gift shop to visit as well!

Enjoy your self-guided tour of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! It’s also a great resort to book for a future visit! The family suites are an exceptional value for larger families planning on visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth. The family suites located at this resort can sleep up to six Guests which makes this resort one of the best values at Walt Disney World!

    Happy planning!
