    Can we visit the Art of Animation in Orlando, Fl without a room reservation? We are looking to do self-guided tour to see if in the future we would plan a stay there, check out the gift shop, get something to eat and possibly visit the arcade.

    Hi, Priscilla!

    Before I leave my Walt Disney World vacation, you can bet I am already planning my next visit! I can totally understand wanting to check out what other Disney Resort Hotels have to offer with dining, shopping, and entertainment.

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one my family's "go to" resorts due to the easy access to the Disney Skyliner which flies you to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT in fun gondolas. We also love the Family Suites that have a separate bedroom, 2 full size beds in the living area, and the real bonus of 2 full bathrooms. With grown kids, my family really needs the extra space. Art of Animation also has standard rooms with 2 queen beds that are located in the Little Mermaid themed area of the resort. 

    You are welcome to visit Art of Animation, however you will not be able to park your vehicle there. I suggest hopping on the Skyliner at either Hollywood Studios or at the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT and taking your flight over. On your way, you will need to transfer at the Caribbean Beach station to the Pop Century/Art of Animation line. During your visit, you may also want to check out Pop Century, which is just a short walk across the Generation Gap bridge. 

    While you are welcome to stroll the grounds, enjoy the dining options, or check out the gift shop, please note that pools are only available to guests of the resort. No worries there as I am sure you are staying a resort that has its own beautiful pool to enjoy!
