1st visit 11/28-12/05.Have ADR at CG for 9:30 for dessert on the 28th .Thinking about cancelling to watch Wishes from our our room, and then hop into bed so the girls (8&10) are well rested for the next day.Don't want a really late night. What would you

Hi Beth!   I completely agree with your philosophy about getting a good nights rest before your first day in the parks. Traveling is exhausting and it would most likely help the whole family to start the vacation rested by heading to bed early that first night.

You did not mention the resort where you will be staying.  Many resorts have rooms with views of the Magic Kingdom but if you find that your room is not one of these it is easy to just walk to a spot close by to enjoy the show. This would be less time consuming then to head to the California Grill for desserts.
