Visisting Disney in August with my son first visist and his birthday heard talk about something called Candlelight Processional can anyone tell me what this is and if my son would like it. Thanks

    Hi Sandra!

I was able to experience the Candlelight Processional (CP) for the first time this past December.  I can tell you it's a very moving experience.  The CP is a presentation of the Christmas Story, with readings by a celebrity narrator, music by a choir accompanied by a 50 piece orchestra.  The event takes place in Epcot at the America Gardens Theatre.

Unfortunately, if you are vacationing in August, you will not be able to experience the CP.  Typically, the shows begin at the end of November and run through the end of December.  However, if you are ever vacationing at Disney during this time, I would consider this a must-do.
