Hi there, Theresa!
It sounds like you are already looking forward to the many adventures you will have during your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Attractions and entertainment await at every turn, of course. My family and I also look forward to
scrumptious dining and
fun souvenirs to remember our visit.
As you explore the shops and sample the restaurant offerings, you are welcome to use your Visa gift card. I recommend keeping track of the remaining balance on your card as you use it. That way, you can be sure to manage purchases that may be more than the remaining balance by asking Cast Members to split the transaction across multiple payment types. The Disneyland Resort also accepts major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB. You can also pay with Disney Gift Cards, the
Disney Rewards Redemption Card, or cash.
Tony’s Tip: I find using
Disney Gift Cards at the Disneyland Resort very convenient. The point-of-sale terminals recognize how to transact with Disney Gift Cards quite smoothly. So I don’t have to keep track of the remaining balance all the time. If a transaction is for an amount greater than the gift card balance, the payment machine will automatically deduct as much as it can and the Cast Member will prompt me for an additional form of payment. That can be another Disney Gift Card or other method of payment. If you think using a Disney Gift Card may make sense for you, you might consider using your Visa gift card to purchase a Disney Gift Card at one of the shops or
online.
I hope you have a most magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Theresa. Please visit us again at planDisney if there are any more questions we can help answer.
