    Tiffany from AZ Asked

For virtual queues at 12pm, if you were at the park in the morning but left for nap time do you need to physically be in the park to get a virtual queue at the time the second round of virtual queues are available?

    Hi Tiffany! Welcome to planDisney.

Oh my goodness, your visit to the Disneyland Resort is HOURS away! I am so, so excited for you. It sounds like you're visiting with a Mouseketeer who needs a mid-day nap (honestly, that's me and I'm in my forties), and I hope you make so many magical memories together!

I am a huge fan of the midday break when visiting the Disney Parks. My family likes to arrive early, have a morning filled with so much magic, and then head back to our hotel for some rest and pool time. I think you've got a great plan. I'm happy to confirm that for the 12:00 p.m. virtual queue at Disneyland Resort, you only need to have entered a theme park that morning. If you're back at the hotel having a rest, you'll be able to enter the virtual queue from there, pending availability.

It's important to note that for the virtual queue, Guests must have a valid ticket and theme park reservation. For WEB-SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guests must have entered Disney California Adventure Park, or Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket, by noon. If you're beginning your day at Disneyland Park, you may then enter Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket after 1 p.m. for your boarding group, as applicable. A new change is that you can login to the Disneyland app beginning at 11:00 a.m. to confirm your party, which takes care of a step when it's time to join the virtual queue.

For Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the rules are the same, but switch the parks. Guests must have entered Disneyland Park, or Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket, by noon. If you hold a Park Hopper ticket, you could begin your day at Disney California Adventure Park and then "hop" to Disneyland Park for your boarding group after 1:00 p.m., if applicable.

I hope that helps, Tiffany! If you're still not sure about virtual queues, please ask a friendly Cast Member when you're in the parks; they will be happy to assist you and answer any questions.

Have so much fun visiting Disneyand Resort!

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
