Hi Tiffany! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh my goodness, your visit to the Disneyland Resort is HOURS away! I am so, so excited for you. It sounds like you're visiting with a Mouseketeer who needs a mid-day nap (honestly, that's me and I'm in my forties), and I hope you make so many magical memories together!
I am a huge fan of the midday break when visiting the Disney Parks. My family likes to arrive early, have a morning filled with so much magic, and then head back to our hotel for some rest and pool time. I think you've got a great plan. I'm happy to confirm that for the 12:00 p.m. virtual queue at Disneyland Resort, you only need to have entered a theme park that morning. If you're back at the hotel having a rest, you'll be able to enter the virtual queue from there, pending availability.
It's important to note that for the virtual queue, Guests must have a valid ticket and
theme park reservation. For
WEB-SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guests must have entered Disney California Adventure Park, or Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket, by noon. If you're beginning your day at Disneyland Park, you may then enter Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket after 1 p.m. for your boarding group, as applicable. A new change is that you can login to the
Disneyland app beginning at 11:00 a.m. to confirm your party, which takes care of a step when it's time to join the virtual queue.
For
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the rules are the same, but switch the parks. Guests must have entered Disneyland Park, or Disney California Adventure Park with a Park Hopper ticket, by noon. If you hold a Park Hopper ticket, you could begin your day at Disney California Adventure Park and then "hop" to Disneyland Park for your boarding group after 1:00 p.m., if applicable.
I hope that helps, Tiffany! If you're still not sure about virtual queues, please ask a friendly Cast Member when you're in the parks; they will be happy to assist you and answer any questions.
Have so much fun visiting Disneyand Resort!
Wishing you much magic,
Robyn
