Welcome to planDisney, Thomas. It's not long now until you'll be embarking on your next Walt Disney World adventure. Make sure that you check out all the magical experiences that await you for the
50th Anniversary Celebration. In all my years of visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth, I've never seen
Cinderalla Castle looking so majestic. With its EARidescent makeover, it's the perfect backdrop for those memorable photos!
As of today, the only ride using a virtual queue is the fantastically immersive
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. When my Star Wars-loving wife stepped foot onto that attraction she was transported to another world. I've seriously never seen her so giddy! If you plan on spending some time in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, then make sure you also ride
Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. If you need some delicious refreshment, stop by the
Milk Stand and try some of that universe-famous Blue Milk.
If you need to leave Batuu at any point, then a trip down Sunset Boulevard to ride
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is a great idea. This is one of my favorite rides in Walt Disney World! Here's a tip: sit in the front seat (it's worth the extra wait). From what I can see, there are no official plans to close down this ride for refurbishment. However, on any given day, rides are sometimes temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances. If you download the
My Disney Experience app, then when you visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll be able to see which rides are currently operational.
I hope that's helpful, Thomas. As we say in Liverpool, "Have a boss trip, mate!"
ChEARS,
Mike
