Can I make a Virtual Que for a park if I'm going to park jop to that park after my initial reservation for a different park? (Example) park reservation for AK, and going to park hop to MK, and want to get a virtual Que for Tron.

Hey Howdy Hey Karin and welcome to planDisney!

It is so nice that not only the Park Hopper Option is back, but recently the time restrictions were taken away and now there is so much more freedom with the tickets. This increase in freedom also brings about a few questions with Virtual Queues such as yours. Thank you for your question Karin, I will do my best to give you more details on navigating this situation. Giddy up!

Virtual Queues opening for attractions such as TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom starting at 7 AM and again at 1 PM. Since you do have the Park Hopper Option, you can make your Virtual Queue selection at 7 AM. When you do, you will receive a boarding group with a general expectation on how long until your group will be called. Once your group is called, you will have 1-hour check into the attraction for your experience. Depending on your boarding group, you may have plenty of time to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom first, experience a few attractions and then head over to the Magic Kingdom. You will know how long on the morning of when you get your boarding group.

You will have another chance to get in the Virtual Queue again at 1 PM. This time, however, you need to be in the Theme Park of the attraction you want to experience. If you missed TRON in the morning, you can get in the Virtual Queue at 1 PM however you need to be in Magic Kingdom in order to have access to this Queue.

In the worst-case scenario, you also have the option to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes. These will guarantee a specific return time for attractions which you can specify if you want to make sure you have your reserved spot. Either way, you have plenty of opportunities to experience these super fun and thrilling attractions in each park.

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip and I hope this information helped inform your strategy. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
