Hi Juli,
Thanks for visiting us at the
Disney Parks Moms Panel. So glad you know one of my fellow Panelists, and I will do my best to help you.
Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to visit since you will be ready to celebrate the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey wants to celebrate with everyone in a special evening event in
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. And starting the Friday after Thanksgiving, a cannot miss event is
Candlelight Processional. Oh, and consider a
Candlelight Dining Package to avoid the wait and be seated in a VIP section. Be on the lookout during the summer and book early as they sell out.
My family just had the opportunity to visit this past year and you should know that during the days leading to it, most Table-Service restaurants feature a typical Thanksgiving meal. Although we have many favorites like
Teppan Edo and
Chef Mickey's, we had an amazing traditional Thanksgiving dinner at
Liberty Tree Tavern, paying tribute to our founding fathers.
One last tip:
Disney Springs is the place to shop on Black Friday, with most stores offering some amazing specials. Happy planning!
Ricardo.
