Hi Kelly,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m excited to hear you’re planning a
Private VIP Tour for your next vacation. As someone who has taken a VIP Tour in the past, it makes you wonder if you should try to have a private tour on every Disney vacation!
At this time, your VIP Private Tour time must coincide with the nighttime fireworks shows to access the VIP viewing areas. Before your tour, you’ll submit information to the VIP Tour Services Cast Members with some details about what you’d like for your tour. This includes what time and where you’d like to meet your Tour Guide, what parks you’d like to visit and if there are any special needs for your party like dietary restrictions, car seats, or mobility needs. You’ll also share if there are any “must-dos” for your party, like the VIP fireworks viewing area. There is also a VIP viewing location for the
Festival of Fantasy Parade at the
Main Street Train Station!
Another option to consider is if you’d like to time your tour to end at the fireworks viewing, or to start your tour a little bit later and leave some time at the end for your tour guide to drive you back to your Disney Resort. When we had very young kids, having a ride back to our Resort was so nice after our big adventure through the theme parks.
Have a fantastic time on your VIP Tour, Kelly! One of my favorite things to do with the Tour Guide is to ask them to point out hidden Mickeys or share interesting facts about the parks and attractions. If you have any future questions, you can come back and
ask me directly at planDisney!
