Hi Luella, welcome to planDisney!
Walt Disney World Resort is a vacation destination known for creating magical moments. One of my daughter's favorite magical memories occurred during
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade in Magic Kingdom Park. Belle noticed and complimented my daughter's pink sunglasses, from the top of her parade float! Parades and
cavalcades provide a practically perfect opportunity for Guests to interact with a multitude of beloved Disney characters.
Guests on a
Disney VIP Tour have access to a reserved parade viewing area located on the upper, covered level of the train station at the front of Magic Kingdom Park. Last week, I had the privilege of experiencing Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from this reserved viewing area, and it was an even bigger treat than all of the delicious trick-or-treat candy I took home. You essentially get to watch the parade twice - once as it's coming down Main Street, U.S.A., and once as it passes directly in front of the train station. Keep in mind the parade route currently start in Frontierland and ends on Main Street, U.S.A., which means the first float makes it to the train station approximately 30 minutes after the listed start time.
Guests that purchase
Disney Genie+ service can also make a
Lightning Lane reservation for the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. This viewing area is located by the Partners Statue in front of Cinderella Castle. My favorite non-reserved spot to catch a Magic Kingdom parade is in front of the
Frontierland Shootin' Arcade.
I hope this is helpful information, Luella. Please return to planDisney with any other very important questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
