Welcome to planDisney, Jill!
I’m thrilled to hear you’re considering reserving a Disney Private VIP Tour during your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. I’ve been lucky enough to spend two unforgettable days with Disney’s VIP Tour Guides, and they have been some of my very favorite times at The Most Magical Place on Earth. There is nothing quite like being escorted through queues and hearing your Guide’s amazing tips (ours rode Toy Story Mania! with the kids and taught them so many secrets to high scores) – it is truly a pixie-dusted experience.
I’ve got great news for you, Jill. Beginning January 1, 2021, the
Park Hopper Option is back at the Walt Disney World Resort! Guests who hold tickets or annual passes with the Park Hopper option are once again able to visit multiple parks in one day. You’ll need
Disney Park Pass reservations for the first park you plan to visit, and then, after Park Hopper Hours begin (they’re currently set at 2 p.m. but that is subject to change based on
Park Hours and other factors), you’ll be able to “hop” to another park, as long as it has not reached capacity. Please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on this new Park Hopper system, which is subject to change as the
Walt Disney World Resort’s phased reopening evolves.
I see your visit isn’t for a few months, Jill, so my advice to you is to call (407) 560-4033 to speak to the Cast Members at
Disney VIP Tour Services. They will have the most up-to-date information about how Park Hopping and VIP Tours come together and help you plan and dream. Because things are changing so quickly these days, they can walk you through exactly what you need to do to make your day practically perfect in every way. We’ve park hopped on both my Disney VIP Tours, and there is nothing quite like the glimpse of Disney’s backstage areas you’ll receive during your private transportation between parks. I’m so excited for you!
Because this is planDisney, I have to share one more tip before signing off. Your VIP Tour Guide is like your own personal Rafiki – wise and seasoned. On our first VIP Tour, our Guide reserved an incredible spot to watch the Disney Festival of Fantasy parade, and we told her that was a waste of valuable attraction riding time. She kindly urged us to trust her, and that parade ended up being one of the highlights of our day. Watching the parade from a private viewing area atop the train station in Magic Kingdom Park put us at eye-level with the characters as the floats passed, and seeing my children’s faces as they were face-to-face with their favorites was something I will never, ever forget. You’ll be encouraged to let your Guide know what your must-dos are, but make sure to tap into their wisdom too. They are magic makers.
Have the best time on your Private VIP Tour, Jill – and on your whole visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
